Volunteer

Lara and women

Bra Day began as a grassroots initiative organized by compassionate surgeons and passionate community members. That momentum continues to grow in communities across Canada, bringing awareness, education and support to more and more women considering post-mastectomy reconstruction. Volunteers are integral to the success and growth of BRA Day in Canada.

Any and all people and organizations are welcome to participate. BRA Day encourages medical professionals, non-profit organizations, corporations, the high risk community (HBOC), breast cancer patients, their families and friends to organize a BRA Day event in their community.

Volunteers contribute their time, expertise, and skills to help coordinate and promote BRA Day events in their area. For more information on events happening near you, and how to get involved, contact your local plastic surgeon’s office and connect with the Canadian Cancer Society.
